We generally try to ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday and orders received before 12pm EDT may ship out that same day. Specifically we will ship within 3 business days. With the current economic environment and changing landscape we are seeing delays in logistics. We currently utilize the USPS for shipping as the most cost friendly and fastest method for shipping.
Automated email notices are sent when processing, and when the label is printed. Note it may take up to 24 hours for the item to be trackable in USPS. If you see an error when clicking the tracking link in the email it simply means the USPS has not yet scanned it and can be several hours before it shows in their system.
Orders over $175 ship free USPS Priority 2-3 day Domestic only.
Note: we use tracking information from USPS.com. If you require an Adult Signature there will be an up charge of $5.20 as required from the USPS....that's our cost from USPS for signature and the customer is responsible for the cost. Other than that tracking is proof of delivery.
Shipping policy applies to USA addresses only. It can be cost prohibitive to export and any export requests will be handled on a case by case basis. We have now enabled real-time shipping cost calculations for international orders with the option of 1st Class or Priority. In many cases we will use DHL for international shipping depending on the item and shipping cost charged by USPS. In the event rates were not available you may still check out but you will see rates will be calculated later in which case a separate invoice would be issued for the shipping costs. If this is the case it may be best to contact us 1st for an estimate. Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
Lithium Batteries: The United States Postal Service currently refuses to accept any shipments containing lithium batteries for export. Our hands are tied on this. We do not totally agree with the policy as it is being implemented here based on reading as published USPS policies on the matter and have raised the complaint. Until something changes we cannot export and will remove any batteries in an international order.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
